In its bathing suit, sporting the Dortmund coat of arms and a sea-horse medallion, this bathing beau braves even the worst of weathers with a saucy life belt round its wing. The 2.50m large original stands in a pool in front of the Bersworthhalle and is one of Dortmund’s most popular photographic subjects.
